Job Overview
Carbonite traffic solutions are seeking experienced, dedicated and vigilant Traffic Marshals to oversee and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in designated areas around Notting hill and surrounding areas for the Notting hill carnival. The ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, the ability to maintain order, and a proactive approach to safety. This role is crucial in ensuring that all traffic regulations are adhered to, promoting a safe environment for both workers and visitors
Duties
- Direct and manage vehicle movements within the site, ensuring safe access and egress.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and pedestrians to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
- Maintain clear visibility at all times, using appropriate signals and signage to guide vehicles.
- Monitor the surrounding environment for potential hazards and take immediate action to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with site management to implement traffic management plans as required.
- Report any incidents or irregularities promptly to ensure swift resolution.
Experience
- Previous experience in a traffic management or similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Proven skills in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus on safety.
- Familiarity with traffic regulations and safety protocols is beneficial.
- Must be available for night shifts 30th and 31st august.
