Bakery Operative (Full-Time Nights)
Salary: STARTING RATE SHOWN WILL VARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
Thornton’s Bakery is looking to recruit a full-time Bakery Operative to join our growing team. Previous experience within a commercial bakery environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
About the Role
You will work within both the making and packing areas of the bakery, helping to produce and prepare products for delivery to our customers.
This is a full-time position, working 35–40 hours per week over 5 night shifts.
Shift Patterns
Shift start times vary depending on the day of the week and the area you are working in:
Making Department
- Start times between 5:30pm and 6:30pm
Packing Department
- Start times between 11:00pm and 12:00am
You will also be expected to work a reasonable amount of overtime during busy periods and to cover holidays and absences when required.
