Job Summary
Jumpstart Learning is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SIA Trainer to deliver high-quality Security Industry Authority (SIA) training from our Redditch centre. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in security training, be registered with Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC), and hold the necessary qualifications to deliver Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 2).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and compliant SIA training courses in accordance with Highfield Awarding Body standards.
- Deliver Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 2) training as part of the SIA course package.
- Prepare, assess and support learners to achieve their qualifications and develop practical security skills.
- Ensure all training materials, lesson plans and assessments meet awarding body and internal quality assurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate learner records, registers and assessment documentation.
- Provide learners with constructive feedback and individual support throughout their training journey.
- Liaise with the internal quality assurance team to ensure compliance with Highfield and Jumpstart Learning standards.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and maintain personal CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
Essential Requirements:
- Recognised Teaching Qualification (e.g. PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
- Qualified SIA Trainer registered with Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC).
- Qualified to deliver Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 2).
- Current SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Close Protection).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering Conflict Management and Physical Intervention units.
- IQA qualification or experience in quality assurance.
- Experience working within a regulated training environment.
Working Hours:
Flexible delivery schedule (part-time or full-time hours available, depending on demand).
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: £140.00-£160.00 per day
