The Cliffden Hotel in Teignmouth is seeking a new team member to join as Night Porter, working on a full-time basis (32 hours per week) to support our team. The role is ideal for someone who is motivated to give great customer service and is looking for a part-time position working nights. In return, we offer a salary of £13.10 per hour plus benefits
Working patterns:
You will be working five nights per week with shifts typically from 23:00 to 7.30am.
The role:
Officially known as a Guest Service Assistant, you'll be looking after our hotel and guests during the night including working on Reception, serving drinks in the bar, looking after the security of the hotel and getting everything ready for the day ahead.
You'll be the friendly, helpful representative for the hotel for our guests and will be responsible for welcoming and processing all of the late arrival guests to the hotel, dealing with any last-minute reservations and some early morning departures too.
You’ll also help with preparing and managing breakfast service, the most important meal of our guests’ day!
About you:
- ideally with 2 years' experience in hospitality, ideally within hotels
- a passion and ability for delivering great customer service
- a self-starter with a great work ethic
- confidence in meeting and engaging with new people daily
- to be a multi-tasker who is willing to get stuck in
- as the role will involve serving at the bar, applicants must be 18 or older
- confident working solo or as part of a small team
