Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. We are offering a 25 hour a week contract. As a crucial part of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our patrons while maintaining a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, ensuring cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to their needs.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
- Previous bartending experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Understanding of food safety practices is preferred.
- Experience in a restaurant or bar setting is beneficial.
