Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mobile devices. Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on various mobile phones and related electronic devices.
- Use hand tools and specialised equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble devices accurately.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues, including screen replacements, battery replacements, and component repairs.
- Analyse schematics and technical diagrams to identify faults and determine repair procedures.
- Conduct maintenance checks on devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair computer hardware components related to mobile device functionality.
- Assist with the maintenance of computer networking systems that support device operations.
- Keep detailed records of repairs performed and parts used.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in mobile phone repair or electronic device maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge of small electronic components and assemblies.
- Proficiency with hand tools utilised in electronic repair tasks.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, schematics, and basic computer repair techniques.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to device connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
