MAH Construction Group Ltd is a London-based construction company delivering high-quality projects for our clients. We pride ourselves on safety, quality and strong client relationships, and we are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a solid commercial fit-out background to join our growing team.
The role
As Project Manager you will take full ownership of commercial fit-out projects from pre-construction through to handover. You will plan, coordinate and control projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the standard our clients expect. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who knows the realities of fit-out delivery and can manage trades, clients and programmes with confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Manage commercial fit-out projects end to end, from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
- Plan and manage project programmes, sequencing works and keeping projects on schedule.
- Control project budgets, costs and variations, working closely with the commercial/QS team.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and their representatives, building strong working relationships.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and CDM 2015, including RAMS and site inductions.
- Manage procurement of materials and subcontract packages to meet programme and budget.
- Chair progress meetings and produce regular reports on programme, cost and quality.
- Resolve issues on site quickly and escalate to Director level where necessary.
Essential requirements
- Proven experience managing commercial fit-out projects (this is essential).
- Strong knowledge of the fit-out process, trades, sequencing and finishes.
- Sound understanding of construction health & safety and CDM 2015 duties.
- Ability to manage programmes, budgets and subcontractors effectively.
- Excellent communication, leadership and client-facing skills.
- Based in or able to commute to Leicester and travel to sites as required.
- Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- SMSTS and First Aid at Work certification.
- Relevant construction or project management qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/degree, or equivalent experience).
- Experience using project management / scheduling software.

Pay: £30,275.47-£82,374.77 per year
