The Role
We are looking for a reliable, organised and practically minded individual to take ownership of our PVC processing operation within our marquee warehouse.
We have recently invested in a specialist SKP marquee PVC cleaning machine, and this role will be responsible for operating the machine and managing the complete process of preparing marquee PVC for our events.
This is not a domestic or general cleaning position.
It is a hands-on machine operative and warehouse role, suited to somebody who takes pride in running an organised working area, can work independently and is comfortable being responsible for an important part of our operation.
Our marquee PVC is used across a wide variety of major events, corporate functions, festivals, weddings and private events. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring it is cleaned, inspected, organised and prepared to the required standard before leaving our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
You will take day-to-day ownership of the PVC process within the warehouse, including:
- Operating our specialist SKP marquee PVC cleaning machine
- Picking the correct PVC from stock and job/load lists
- Cleaning and processing PVC through the machine
- Inspecting PVC for damage, excessive wear or required repairs
- Correctly folding, stacking, labelling and strapping cleaned PVC
- Maintaining an organised and efficient PVC Shed including stock levels
- Maintaining/cleaning the cleaning machine and associated working area
- Monitoring consumables and ensuring adequate stock is maintained
- Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency of the PVC process
- Working closely with the Yard Manager and wider Operations team
What We're Looking For
Previous marquee experience is not essential but preferrable — full training on the SKP cleaning machine and our PVC system will be provided. More important to us is finding someone with the right attitude and approach.

- Is comfortable operating machinery and equipment
- Is practical and mechanically minded
- Is highly organised and methodical
- Takes pride in maintaining an efficient working area
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Has strong attention to detail and quality
- Is physically capable of handling marquee PVC throughout the working day
- Is dependable and understands the importance of meeting operational deadlines

About the Position
This is an important role within our warehouse operation. Experience within warehousing, manufacturing, production, machine operation, logistics, events, construction or a similar hands-on environment would be particularly well suited to this position.
Rather than simply carrying out individual cleaning tasks, we want the successful candidate to take responsibility for the entire PVC process and make the area their own.

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
