Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Trade operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across multiple trades. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a broad skill set in construction, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance to utilise their expertise in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Carry out maintenance and repair work across multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical installations, and general building repairs.
- Assist with installation of fixtures, fittings, and equipment as required.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Respond promptly to urgent repair requests and troubleshoot technical problems effectively.
- Assist in organising tools, equipment, and materials needed for various tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work or general maintenance.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in trades or related fields are desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards resolving issues.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory depending on the role requirements.
