Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes
- Carry out food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or meals in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment to ensure a safe and inviting environment
- Manage cash register transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure the café runs smoothly during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene practices
Experience
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making techniques is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently
- Solid cooking experience using fresh ingredients from scratch
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
- Ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
