Summary
We are seeking a Forest School Leader to join our team at East Harptree Nursery. This vital role involves leading outdoor learning activities that support children's growth and curiosity, aligning with our mission to nurture young minds in a natural environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging outdoor learning experiences tailored to young children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
- Collaborate with staff and families to support children's developmental needs.
- Promote environmental awareness and sustainability among children.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained during all activities.
- Qualifications
- Hold a level 2 or 3 Forest School Qualification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of child development principles.
- Ability to lead outdoor activities safely and effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or outdoor learning.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor education and environmental sustainability.
- Flexibility and creativity in teaching approaches.
