Responsibilities
- Safely operate own vehicle to deliver food orders to customers promptly and courteously
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate order fulfillment during each trip
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after deliveries
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes
- Support kitchen operations by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, and delivery packages with proper technique
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and address inquiries or issues
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience or familiarity with commercial driving is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience working in a warehouse or food service environment is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy setting
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Basic knowledge of driving regulations and safety protocols for commercial vehicles
