Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and creative part time Chef to join our team and contribute to the culinary experience of our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering tasty traditional dishes. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring kitchen efficiency and working to improve standards and compliance with governing bodies.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menu items in accordance with food safety standards and customer preferences
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and menu offerings
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment
Skills:
- Proficiency in kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety protocols
- Experience in meal preparation and menu planning
Qualifications
- Proven kitchen experience in a professional setting
