We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for 3D printing who wants to build a long-term career in technical customer support and printer servicing.
No two days are the same, and you'll receive full on-the-job training as your knowledge develops.
What you'll be doing:
You'll become part of our technical support team, helping customers get the very best from their machines.
Your day could include:
- Responding to customer enquiries by email, telephone, live chat and support tickets
- Diagnosing technical faults on a wide range of 3D printers
- Repairing and servicing printers ready for return to customers
- Assisting customers with print quality, slicing and setup issues
- Supporting customers during showroom visits and trade exhibitions
- Learning new printer technologies, software and products as they are released
- Helping other departments when required during busy periods
What we're looking for:
We're far more interested in attitude than overall years of experience.
You'll ideally have:
- A genuine passion for 3D printing
- Ideally your own 3D printer and some hands-on experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A logical approach to problem solving
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
- A willingness to learn and develop
- A friendly, positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A full UK driving licence (preferred)
You'll also need to have at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths, English and ICT.
During your training you'll gain experience with:
- FDM and resin (SLA/MSLA) 3D printing
- 3D Printer Softwares (Slicers / Apps)
- Visma ERP
- Customer support systems
- Printer diagnostics and repairs
- Warranty processes and technical troubleshooting
