Admissions Manager (52 Weeks)
We are seeking an experienced, organised, and compassionate Admissions Manager to join our dedicated team at Ripplevale School, Deal and Broadstairs, an independent specialist school supporting children and young people aged 6 - 19 with Special Educational Needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly professional individual who is passionate about helping families access the right educational provision for their children. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the admissions process, building strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals, and ensuring a positive experience for prospective pupils and their families.
As Admissions Manager, you will oversee the entire admissions journey, from initial enquiry through to pupil enrolment. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to manage admissions pipelines, coordinate consultations, EHCPs and assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and school policies.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in admissions, pupil recruitment, school administration, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of SEN provision and the admissions process within specialist education settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with families, local authorities, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Knowledge of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Understanding of local authority commissioning processes.
- Experience using school management information systems.
