Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Furniture Assembler & Possible Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of furniture pieces with precision and care, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Additionally, you may be called upon to operate a company vehicle for deliveries or pickups, requiring a responsible and safety-conscious attitude. Duties
- Assemble Teak garden furniture items accurately using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment according to provided specifications and diagrams
- Use carpentry, joinery, and fabrication techniques to ensure sturdy and high-quality assembly
- Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, hammers, and saws safely and efficiently
- Stuff and bag garden furniture cushions
- Load and unload furniture pieces carefully during delivery or pickup runs, ensuring protection of items and safety of all involved
- Drive company vehicles for deliveries or pickups when required, maintaining proper documentation and adhering to traffic laws
- Assist with unloading of 40ft containers occasionally when furniture arrives from our Far East factory.
Requirements
- Proven experience with furniture fabrication, assembly, or related carpentry work
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
- Ability to lift heavy furniture items safely repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
This is a FULL time opportunity for someone wishing to work in a small dynamic team near Needwood.
House usually are 08:00 - 16:00 with element of flexibility. Over-time paid.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
