Job Summary
As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering a range of nursing services and chronic disease management within primary care. You will work closely with our GPs, and other team members to provide proactive, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
- Management of long-term conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension)
- Cervical screening (smear tests)
- Childhood and adult immunisations /Flu Immunisation
- Wound care and dressings
- Travel health advice and vaccinations (if trained)
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC Pin)
- Previous experience in a primary care or community setting
- Cervical cytology and immunisation training
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desirable
- Experience using EMIS Web
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour
