Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen team at Hove Place. As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly while fostering a positive and collaborative environment for your team.
Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes prepared.
- Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
- Coordinate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients while managing inventory effectively.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods.
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements where necessary to enhance efficiency.
