We have an opportunity for a reliable 3.5 Tonne Forklift Operator to join our busy T-Beams Yard.
The right candidate will work as part of a team and be responsible for the safe loading, unloading and movement of precast concrete products in a fast paced environment.
Duties will include:
- Loading and unloading precast concrete products.
- Moving product around the yard and storage areas.
- Carrying out daily forklift safety checks and report any defects.
- Working closely with Production and Transport teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the yard.
- Supporting Production teams as and when necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment is preferable however full training will be given.
- Ability to work well under pressure is essential.
- Must be reliable and able to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
