Part-Time Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant - Forfar Golf Club & The Rig & Furrow Restaurant
Forfar Golf Club is seeking a Part-Time Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting our chef team in delivering a high-quality, modern food offering across clubhouse dining for members and visitors, while also helping support the continued growth of our new restaurant, The Rig & Furrow.
Working closely with our kitchen team, you will play an important part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is keen to be part of a friendly and ambitious team.
Washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as required.
Receiving and storing deliveries correctly.
Ensuring waste is disposed of safely and efficiently.
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Following all food safety and health & safety procedures.
