Purpose of the Role
To provide administrative, membership and customer service support to the General Manager, ensuring members, visitors and societies receive a professional, efficient and welcoming experience.
The role will support membership administration, membership marketing, society bookings, member communications and general office management, helping to improve member satisfaction, generate revenue and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Club.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the Club.
- Manage membership administration, records, onboarding and enquiries.
- Support membership recruitment and marketing through social media, website updates, promotional campaigns and follow-up of prospective members.
- Coordinate society administration, including quotations, bookings, catering arrangements, tee times and event planning.
- Deliver a professional and welcoming service to members, guests and visitors, responding to telephone, email and reception enquiries.
- Prepare correspondence, member communications, notices, meeting papers and maintain accurate filing systems and club records.
- Update Club information across communication channels, including noticeboards, the website and Intelligent Golf.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure the effective delivery of member, visitor and society activities.
- Process supplier invoices and liaise with the Course Manager and suppliers to ensure timely ordering, approvals and resolution of any queries.

Essential
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using accounting software Xero or Sage
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner.
Desirable
- Experience within a golf club, hospitality, leisure or membership-based organisation.
- Experience using Intelligent Golf or similar club management software.
- Experience of social media management and marketing.
- Knowledge of golf club operations.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
