Summary
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our dedicated team at Brook House Care Home. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. Your culinary skills will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
- Plan menus that are nutritious and appealing to residents.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with care staff to accommodate individual resident preferences.
- Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Assist in training kitchen staff on food preparation techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for meal preparation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
