3.5T Collection & Delivery DriverAbout the Role
We are seeking a reliable and professional 3.5T Collection & Delivery Driver to join our operations team.
This is a key role responsible for carrying out nationwide collections and deliveries safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will represent the business on customer sites across the UK and play an important part in maintaining strong client relationships.
The role requires flexibility, accountability and the ability to work independently while meeting operational deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out nationwide collections and deliveries using company vehicles
- Complete multidrop routes (local and nationwide)
- Safely load, secure and transport goods
- Wrap, pack and palletise items where required
- Undertake manual handling in line with company procedures
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and digital records
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report faults promptly
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation
- Deliver a professional and consistent customer experience
- Handle all goods in line with company security and compliance procedures
About You
You will be:
- Professional and reliable
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own routes
- Experienced in multidrop deliveries
- Organised and able to meet time-sensitive schedules
- Confident using basic IT systems and handheld devices
- A strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
What You'll Need
- Full Category B Driving Licence
- Minimum 3 years' driving experience preferred
- Right to work in the UK
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Willingness to undertake DBS and driving licence checks
- Flexible approach to varied start times and occasional nights away
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures at all times
Bonus if you have
- A Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence.
While this isn't essential, we'd love to hear from candidates who hold one. There may be opportunities for additional responsibilities and enhanced pay for the right person.
