We are looking for full-time Sterile Instrument & Supplies Storeperson to be part of a team providing comprehensive, high quality support work within a dynamic and exciting Operating Theatre Department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
This is an essential role in the effective running of the of the theatre department.
The post holders will be non-patient facing contact and work within the department to maintain an efficient source of instruments in accordance with the service requirements.
You will be an integral part in the delivery of maintaining high standards of work within the theatre department in conjunction with the Theatre Nursing management/ Senior charge nurses/ Team Leads/sterilising unit and complete any necessary admin duties assigned to the role.
The post holder will be responsible for the transportation of surgical instruments to and from the theatre areas and the disposal of clinical waste.
This role will include maintaining a safe and clean environment within the theatre department.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
