Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice to clients on mortgage options and protection products, ensuring they receive tailored solutions that meet their individual needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about helping clients secure their financial future and develop their career within the industry. The position is suited to experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisors.
Basic salary of £32,500, with the opportunity to earn sales related bonuses monthly. OTE is £50,000 to £60,000 for this role.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ financial circumstances and identify suitable mortgage and protection products
- Provide clear, professional advice on mortgage options, including first-time buyer, remortgage, and buy-to-let scenarios
- Explain the features, benefits, and risks of various protection policies such as life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection
- Prepare and submit applications on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, product developments, and regulatory changes within the financial services sector
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing support and service excellence
- Keep detailed records of client interactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Experience
- Previous experience in financial services or a similar advisory role is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently.
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure all documentation complies with industry standards.
- A proactive approach to client service and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals.
We are open to hybrid and flexible working options for the right candidate. The role would be primarily located in our Stirling branch, by working from home could also be an option, as well as hybrid working.
