We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trader / Property Maintenance Operative to join our growing property maintenance business.
The role will involve carrying out a wide variety of maintenance, repair and refurbishment work across residential properties. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in their work and is comfortable dealing with different types of jobs from day to day.
Typical work will include:
General property maintenance and repairs
Basic plumbing repairs and replacements
Joinery and carpentry
Plastering and patch repairs
Painting and decorating
Laminate/LVT flooring and skirting boards
Door, lock, handle and hinge repairs/replacements
Kitchen and bathroom repairs
Silicone and sealant work
Minor external maintenance
General handyman work
Small refurbishment works
You do not need to be a specialist in every trade, but you should have good all-round property maintenance experience and be capable of completing jobs to a professional standard.
What we’re looking for:
Previous multi-trade/property maintenance experience
Good practical and problem-solving skills
Reliable and able to manage jobs independently
Professional when dealing with tenants, landlords and clients
Good standard of workmanship
Full UK driving licence
Own tools - can supply tools that might be needed for certain jobs
Ability to take clear before-and-after photographs and provide job updates
The work is varied, with jobs ranging from smaller reactive repairs through to larger maintenance and refurbishment projects.
