Position: Programme Officer
Location: 25 West St, PO19 1RQ
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 4+ Months
Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: PAYE: £225.00 Per Day
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of engineering, planning, and surveying programmes, ensuring effective coordination of activities
- Coordinate project activities and monitor progress to ensure delivery against agreed objectives and timelines
- Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners to support successful programme delivery
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and administrative systems
- Prepare reports, track project updates, and provide administrative support where required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with council procedures, governance requirements, and project deadlines
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK

- Three years of written references with any employment gaps verified
- Valid National Insurance number
- All legally required licences, qualifications, and registrations (where applicable)
- Ability to provide documentation confirming eligibility to work in the UK

- Previous experience in programme, project, or administrative support
- Experience within engineering, planning, surveying, or local government (desirable)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
