MK Trading Ltd is looking for a motivated and commercially focused Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of our construction, refurbishment and property-related activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client and industry relationships, supporting bids and proposals, and helping the company develop new projects and commercial opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, refurbishment and property sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, contractors, suppliers and business partners.
- Research potential projects, clients and commercial opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations and tender-related documentation.
- Follow up new enquiries and prospective contracts.
- Liaise with management regarding project requirements, pricing and commercial feasibility.
- Research market trends, competitors and opportunities for business growth.
- Maintain an accurate business-development pipeline and client records.
- Attend client meetings and relevant networking events when required.
- Assist in developing and implementing business-development strategies.
- Monitor enquiries, opportunities, conversion rates and potential revenue.
- Prepare regular reports for management.
- Support the company's long-term growth and development objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent higher-level qualification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good commercial awareness and analytical ability.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident communicating with clients and other business stakeholders.
- Ability to prepare professional reports, proposals and presentations.
- Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge or experience of construction, refurbishment, property or a related sector would be advantageous.
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
