We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and people-focused Admin Officer to play a central role in keeping our busy and rewarding learning environment running smoothly. As the first point of contact for learners, visitors and colleagues, you'll help create a professional, welcoming experience while providing essential administrative support across our sites. From coordinating office activities and learner records to supporting events, meetings and day-to-day operations, you'll be at the heart of everything we do. As an Admin Officer, a typical day might include:

Coordinating our main office site – being that person who welcomes everyone on site and via the telephone.

Manage day-to-day administrative processes across all sites - maintaining office supplies and equipment to ensure our sites have everything they need.

Monitoring our shared inbox and post, answering general queries or forwarding to other team members when required.

Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for our learners – ensuring all hubs are updated timely and accurately with learner information.

Leading on administration of our learner records and documentation, ensuring our folders and confidential files are accurate and up to date, our management information system is updated, and compliance checking processes and data as required.

Using our finance system to process the purchasing of goods and services, and generally coordinating, collecting and delivering goods as needed.

Provide logistical and administrative support for internal events, and training sessions.

Prepare, format, and maintain documents and reports for local authorities, group wide forums and our Board – ensuring timely submission where required.

Following up any interest received to support our learners.
Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you:

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
-
Previous experience in frontline administration roles in education, learner support or something similar.

Highly organised and take pride in your accuracy and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft packages (outlook, teams, word, excel) and are comfortable learning how to use new systems.

Have excellent written and verbal skills and engage well with colleagues and stakeholders.

Ability to work as a team, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work collaboratively with others, whether in the same team or external support providers

Time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

What will make you stand out from the crowd:

Are comfortable with, and can engage with people both 1-2-1 and in groups
- Business administration qualification

Knowledge of EHCP’s (Education Health Care Plans) would be advantageous

You’re interested in supporting our learners hands-on with activities, learning opportunities or employment support – and have some skills to offer in this area.
