The Role
As a Chef de Partie at BANK, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen—where heritage meets innovation, and every dish tells a story. You’ll work with precision, passion, and pride, turning fresh, locally sourced ingredients into plates that reflect our region’s richness and our team’s creativity. Whether prepping for service or plating with finesse, your work will help shape the guest experience from behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and cook dishes to spec with consistency, care, and attention to detail
- Support smooth kitchen operations during busy services with calm focus
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and wider team to refine prep and service flow
- Contribute ideas and feedback as we evolve our menu and kitchen systems
- Take pride in presentation, timing, and the craft of cooking
- Bring energy, reliability, and adaptability to a fast-paced new opening
- Embody BANK’s values: rooted in history, driven by craft, and committed to community
About You
- A genuine passion for cooking and working with quality ingredients
- Experience in a professional kitchen (preferred, but not essential)
- A calm, focused approach under pressure and during busy services
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow with the team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and adapt to changing needs
- Pride in representing Glossop and contributing to a new local landmark
