Job Summary

Please note: access to a car is essential for this role, as you’ll be travelling between clients to collect and pair dogs for group walks throughout the day.
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, responsible, and professional dog walker/pet sitter to join our small and supportive team at We Love Pets Crystal Palace.
This role involves both dog walking and pet sitting visits. As a dog walker, you’ll provide safe, structured, and enjoyable walks for dogs either individually or in small groups. As a pet sitter, you’ll care for pets in their own homes while owners are away, ensuring they are safe, happy, and well cared for.
This is an active, outdoor role that requires confidence, good time management, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Walking dogs individually or in small groups
- Safely handling dogs of varying sizes and temperaments
- Travelling independently between bookings
- Following feeding, medication, and care routines
- Providing updates to clients
- Respecting clients’ homes and maintaining professionalism at all times
- Providing pet sitting visits and occasional overnight stays
- Wearing We Love Pets uniform while carrying out services
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently
- Comfortable walking in all weather conditions
- Confident handling a variety of dog breeds and behaviours
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience with dogs is essential
- Experience with cats and other small animals is a bonus
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential for this role.
