We are looking for an experienced Call Centre Controller to join our 24/7 Edinburgh operations room.
As a Controller, you won't just be managing booking systems; you’ll be supporting our drivers, guiding our agents, and ensuring our customers receive first-class service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Confidently manage our taxi booking and dispatch systems to efficiently allocate jobs and balance driver workloads.
- Oversee the control room during your shift, managing agent breaks.
- Act as the first point of contact for driver queries, handling any live issues calmly and effectively.
- Deliver clear, polite, and empathetic service to the public, account holders, staff, and drivers alike.
- Handle essential PC administration to log key information perfectly, ensuring a seamless handover between shifts.
What We’re Looking For:
- A solid background in a taxi dispatch or transport logistics control role is essential.
- Strong competence in taxi booking systems and general PC administration.
- The ability to maintain accuracy, sharp attention to detail, and a calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to promote a positive, collaborative, and helpful team environment.
