DIAMA Security is recruiting professional, reliable and committed Security Officers to join our team at a textile warehouse site in Gloucester, GL3.
This is a long-term opportunity offering permanent employment, reliable hours and a structured 4-on/4-off shift pattern.

Shift Pattern
Successful candidates will work a 4 On / 4 Off rotation, consisting of:
* Day Shift: 06:00–18:00
* Night Shift: 18:00–06:00
* 12-hour shifts
* Regular and reliable working pattern
* Candidates must be available to work their allocated shifts, including days, nights and weekends where these fall within the rotation
Rate of Pay
The starting rate is:
£15.00 per hour – PAYE
There will be the opportunity for performance-related increments up to £18.00 per hour, dependent upon performance and development within the role.
This is a PAYE position and is intended to provide successful candidates with long-term employment and stability.
The Role
Depending on operational requirements, your duties may include:
* Static guarding and site security
* Conducting regular internal and external patrols
* Vehicle and perimeter patrols
* Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems
* Controlling pedestrian and vehicle access to the site
* Checking staff, contractor and visitor identification/passes
* Conducting vehicle searches where required
* Maintaining accurate security records and reports
* Reporting incidents, suspicious activity and security concerns
* Responding appropriately to incidents in accordance with site procedures
* Following all site instructions, assignment instructions and DIAMA Security procedures
* Maintaining excellent standards of professionalism, appearance and customer service
* Working effectively as part of the wider site security team
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
* Hold a valid SIA licence
* Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
* Be able to successfully complete the required BS7858 screening and vetting process
* Hold an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate
* Be available and reliable for their allocated 4 On / 4 Off shifts
* Have good written and verbal communication skills
* Be capable of producing clear and accurate incident reports
* Demonstrate a professional attitude and appearance
* Be punctual, dependable and able to work as part of a professional security team
Applicants should understand that employment will be subject to the successful completion of all required right-to-work, SIA licence, employment-history and BS7858 screening and vetting checks.
