We are a family run biogas plant in North Hampshire producing methane gas for the gas grid and CO2 for the food and beverages industry. Recently our by-products; CO2, dry-ice and mulch have been expanding and we are looking for help with the production lines of said by-products.
Job Summary
We are seeking an Operator to join our team in our biogas plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our new dry ice production line and our existing mulch production line during the night.
- Responsible for the start-up and close down of our dry ice machine.
- Operating our dry ice machine and packing the bags into relevant boxes in a neat and efficient manner to keep up with required customer satisfaction.
- Housekeeping of our dry ice room/yard to keep track of boxes and their movements.
- Load and unload vans with dry ice boxes using our onsite counter-balance forklift.
- Using our on site forklifts to fill 1 ton bags with our own Apsley Farms soil improving mulch, woodchip or soil/mulch ready-mix.
- Housekeeping of the biogas plant and yard
Skills
Telehandlers - training will be given
This job has a high level of responsibility.
The applicant must be reliable, focused, flexible and willing.
We are offering 28 days holiday/year including the bank holidays with additional days on length of service.
