Position: Chef (Part Time)
Pay: Up to £15.00per Hour
Hours: 13 Hours per Week
Location: East Grinstead, RH19
Role Overview
Part-time chef required for assisted living complex in East Grinstead. You’ll be working two days a week and this role will involve some weekend shifts. We offer a three-course menu and all dishes are pre-ordered in advance. You will be the sole chef on shift but you will be supported by two catering assistants who will do some basic food preparation, washing up and serve in the dining room.
Your shifts will be 7am – 2pm, two days a week and additional ours will be available to help cover sickness and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing & cooking nutritious, good quality lunches for up to 30 residents
- Working well as part of a team and showing excellent communication skills
- Following food safety and health and safety legislation and completing all due diligence records as required
- Working cleanly and safely
