Conveyancing Executive / Solicitor | East Lancashire | £40,000 - £50,000
I’m currently recruiting for a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to appoint a Conveyancing Executive or Solicitor to join its residential conveyancing team in East Lancashire.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced conveyancer looking for a busy, varied caseload, strong client contact and the opportunity to develop their career within a supportive and growing firm.
The Role
You’ll manage your own caseload as part of an experienced team, covering a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold & leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- New builds and shared ownership
- Right to Buy and transfers of part
- Searches, contracts and enquiries
- Title checking and reporting
- Mortgage offers, exchange and completion
- Completion statements and Land Registry
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
You’ll also have the opportunity to build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued development of the department.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong residential conveyancing experience
- A good understanding of the conveyancing process and technical title issues
- Experience managing a busy caseload independently
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
