Job Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team.
Salary

Key Responsibilities
- Attending and diagnosing mechanical breakdowns on site.
- Carrying out workshop repairs on a range of mechanical equipment.
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of pipework systems.
- Supporting production and maintenance activities across the site.
Essential Experience
- Strong knowledge of pumps, including mono, centrifugal, and magnetic drive pumps.
- Experience working with steam systems.
- Pipework installation and repair experience.
- Experience within an industrial manufacturing or process environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven mechanical engineering experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.

About the Role
This position is with a chemical manufacturing company that also operates spray drying processes. Our engineering team is a close-knit group that works together across multiple trades to keep the plant running efficiently.
The role is well suited to someone who enjoys traditional industrial engineering, hands-on maintenance, and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
