- Manage the implementation of food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team performance to foster a positive working environment.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control efficiently.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety practices.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes.
- Experience working in a hotel or similar hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Barista experience or background in hospitality roles such as serving or kitchen work is desirable.
- Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
