Duties
- Deliver tailored personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household tasks.
- Follow detailed care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Drive between clients’ homes safely and efficiently to provide consistent support across different locations.
- Promote independence and encourage social engagement to enhance clients’ quality of life.
Qualifications
- Valid driving license and the ability to travel between client locations reliably.
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English for effective communication.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records and documentation.
- Strong communication skills with a caring, respectful approach towards clients.
- Knowledge of care plans and health & safety procedures relevant to home care settings is advantageous.
