Best Workforce Solutions UK Ltd is expanding its security team and is recruiting professional and reliable SIA Licensed Door Supervisors for event and security assignments in Edinburgh, with opportunities for further work across Scotland.
We are particularly interested in officers who are available for major sporting, music, festival, hospitality and other event assignments.
Responsibilities include:
- Access and egress control
- Crowd management and queue management
- Checking accreditation and authorised access
- Searching where required and authorised
- Monitoring designated areas and identifying potential safety or security concerns
- Conflict management and professional de-escalation
- Supporting venue emergency and evacuation procedures
- Reporting incidents promptly to supervisors
- Providing professional customer service to members of the public
- Following client, venue, health & safety and security procedures
Essential requirements:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a security team
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Punctuality and commitment to confirmed assignments
Previous event-security experience is desirable, although suitable licensed applicants with the right attitude will also be considered.
Additional opportunities
Successful applicants may be considered for ongoing assignments including events, hospitality venues, corporate premises, residential developments and other security contracts as opportunities become available.
