Description
The Audit Manager will be responsible for managing the audit process for a portfolio of clients, providing an excellent level of service. This role requires a friendly and approachable individual with a clear perception of client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide an excellent level of service to a portfolio of clients which meets and exceeds their expectations.
Managing the audit process and audit file reviews in accordance with Xeinadin’s standard procedures.
Ensure agreed deliverables are within a set timeframe and that the job is completed within budget.
To research and prepare proposals for new work, and to take part in formal presentations to prospective clients.
To act as a line manager for junior members of the team.
Ensure self and team members follow all legal and statutory requirements.
Represent Xeinadin to the client ensuring that the day to day is delivered ensuring a focus on innovation and the future.
Deliver the Xeinadin vision and values.
Represent the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude.
Experience of consolidation of large or complex group audits and knowledge of ISA600 preferable.
Experience with preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax preferable.
Key Requirements
The successfully appointed individual will be a qualified practice accountant (ACCA/ACA).
A minimum of 5 years’ experience within practice.
Track record of leading statutory audits and non-audit assignments from planning to completion.
Strong knowledge of FRS102 and FRS102 1A essential.
Experience in managing and mentoring junior members of a practice team, with a focus on driving results and exceeding expectations.
Proficiency in navigating professional regulations and best practices, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact.
Additional Requirements
Commercially minded with a clear perception of client requirements.
Experience applying FRS101 and IFRS preferable.
Confident and professional.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
Ambitious and resilient mindset.
