The Role
We're looking for a charismatic, outgoing, and ambitious Front of House Manager to be the face of Dorothy's Diner. This isn't your average hospitality management role. You'll be responsible for creating buzz, driving footfall, building relationships within the local community, and making Dorothy's the go to late night destination in Bristol.
You'll lead the front of house team, champion the customer experience, and take ownership of our drag entertainment programme booking, managing, and supporting our incredible queens to ensure every shift brings maximum sparkle.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the front of house team to deliver fast, friendly, and fabulous service
- Act as a brand ambassador, actively promoting Dorothy's Diner and helping grow the business
- Build relationships with local venues, communities, promoters, and customers to increase awareness and drive sales
- Plan, book, coordinate, and manage our roster of drag performers and entertainment
- Create a fun, energetic atmosphere that keeps customers coming back
- Handle customer feedback and enquiries with confidence, personality, and professionalism
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, training, and team development
- Support venue operations during busy late night services and lead by example on the floor
- Work closely with head office to develop promotions, events, and new ideas to grow the brand
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer service are maintained at all times
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Front of House, Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar hospitality role
- A natural people person with a big personality and excellent communication skills
- Confidence promoting a business and building relationships both in person and online
- Experience coordinating entertainment, events, performers, or nightlife activities is a huge bonus
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed
- Comfortable working in a vibrant, inclusive environment alongside drag performers and diverse team members
- A genuine passion for hospitality, entertainment, and creating memorable experiences

Please note the venue is open 5pm - 5am, the successful canidate will need to be available during those hours.
Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
