We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Swimming Teacher to join our vibrant aquatic education team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to students’ individual abilities and learning objectives
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, safety procedures, and water confidence-building exercises
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain a safe environment by enforcing pool rules and supervising all activities during lessons
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members to support ongoing development
- Assist in setting up equipment, maintaining pool cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your teaching skills and stay current with industry best practices
Requirements
- Proven sports coaching experience or background in teaching or instructing others in a physical activity setting
- Level 2 swimming teaching qualification and safeguarding
- Previous experience as a swimming instructor or coach is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages
- Certification in lifesaving, first aid, and CPR
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Passion for teaching, water safety, and helping others succeed in the pool
