Experienced Care Assistant required for elderly care home. 2 x 12 hour shifts per week
Must be able to work night duty
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medications as instructed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
```Qualifications```
- NVQ 2 or working towards
- Previous experience working in a care home or a related field is essential
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to pass a background check
Please note that this position requires working day shift, occasional night duties or sleepover duties, some bank holiday working is required on a rota basis
