The company is looking for a Quality and Compliance Manager to work for our two nursing homes in Nottingham.
Job description:
Understand the particular factors and issues relating to the relevant external regulatory
authorities, i.e. CQC, Care Commission, RQIA and CSIW and the ability to apply these to daily
work and processes.
- Provide on-site clinical governance expertise to the Home Manager such as continence, dementia, end of life palliative care (pain management and chronic pain), diabetes, tissue viability, infection control, and Parkinson’s disease.
- Advise and assist Home Managers and Area Managers on making improvements and/or implementing recovery action plans following the result of the Internal Service Quality Inspection.
- Undertake thorough investigations into complex care related complaints and support the Home Managers and Area Managers by identifying problem areas and making recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct thorough investigations into Safeguarding issues and attend strategy meetings to Provide technical support to Home Manager.
- Liaise with external agencies, such as social services and the care commission, in respect of dealing with any safeguarding issues.
