Duties
- Perform routine inspections and diagnostics on vehicles and machinery to identify issues promptly.
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other key components.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and minimize downtime.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts for quick turnaround.
Experience
- experience as a mechanic working with various types of vehicles or industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports accurately.
- Certification from recognized automotive or mechanical trade schools is preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as OBD scanners or other industry-standard equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Must be confident working on all makes and models, carrying out repairs, servicing and diagnostics
- Preferred full-time, but we will consider the right applicant for flexible hours
