Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are seeking a Receptionist to join our team on a permanent basis.
Office-based, working five days a week on a 35-hour schedule between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The Role
As a Receptionist, you’ll deal with a variety elements and tasks such as:
- Switchboard call handling.
- Meeting, greeting and interacting with clients, visitors and staff.
- Internal call handling, including taking and passing on accurate messages via email.
- Processing and confirming meeting room booking requests in a timely manner.
- Setting up meeting rooms and arranging hospitality.
- Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming post.
- Scanning incoming correspondence and documents onto our case management system, ensuring they are accurately allocated to the relevant files.
- Distributing scanned and physical post to the appropriate departments and team members.
- Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.
- Monitoring and replenishing stationery supplies.
- Performing general administrative and clerical duties, including filing, photocopying and document preparation.
- Providing administrative support to colleagues as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a front-of-house role within a legal (preferred) or professional services environment.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic and busy environment; this is not a back-office role.
- A driven, engaging and professional approach, with a passion for delivering excellent client service.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong professional relationships.
- Sound judgement and a logical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Excellent IT skills.
