We at Greenfields are looking for a Soft Landscaping Team Leader with exceptional plant knowledge to join our expanding team. Greenfields is a family run, ambitious business located near Gloucester. The role:
- Carrying out high-quality horticultural maintenance including pruning, planting, weeding, feeding, and soil care
- Monitoring plant health and identifying plant diseases, pests, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stress issues
- Identifying a wide range of plants, trees, shrubs, and weeds across varied landscapes
- Selecting appropriate plants and advising on suitable plant combinations and arrangements
- Planning and carrying out seasonal planting schemes, ensuring year-round colour, structure, and interest
- Operating horticultural tools and machinery safely and effectively
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a full driving licence
- Have strong practical horticulture and gardening skills
- Have knowledge of common plants, trees, and seasonal care
- Be able to read planting plans
- Have experience with seasonal planting and maintenance schedules
- Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
- Have experience with landscaping tools and machinery
- Have excellent attention to detail, especially around plant health and presentation
- Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
Hours will be Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with overtime available to meet business requirements.
28 days holiday including bank holidays. Birthday as a paid pay off.
Pay to be discussed at interview and dependant on experience and qualifications.
