Job Summary
Leading construction company is looking to strengthen their West Midlands office through the appointment of an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who can work closely with clients from the public sector and private sector.
Project include
Fitout projects to new build projects, primarily to the hospitality sector and latterly bespoke housing projects for disabled/assisted living accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- You will provide a client focused professional surveying service of the highest quality, being flexible and responsive at all times
- You will procure and manage contracts and contractors delivering planned maintenance services and refurbishment projects.
- You will contribute to a team environment in which everyone is committed in producing a quality outcome.
- We're looking for Intermediate and Senior level Quantity Surveyor who can create real value for our clients.
- Team player and capable of influencing others to achieve outputs with the ability to advise and guide colleagues in a supportive, interactive way.
- A person who can develop and maintain good relationship with both colleagues and clients and can gain the confidence of others.
- Must have the ability to plan and manage a diverse and flexible workload.
- Experience of controlling quality and the timely delivery of projects.

- A good track record as a professional Quantity Surveyor with a desire for a progressive career.
- An ability to identify and develop business through service excellence and building relationships with clients.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, budgeting, and financial planning for construction projects. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong expertise in cost control, budgeting, and financial management of construction projects.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or equivalent programmes.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
