Little Inspirations in Merthyr is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager who already is qualified at Level 4/5 Childcare or has experience and qualified to Level 3 but willing to undertake Level 4/5 qualification as part of role.
We are looking for a positive, energised individual with experience of being a leader within a nursery setting.
The successful candidate will need to be confident, professional, empathetic and passionate about childcare and being a team player to ensure the highest standards of care are provided within the nursery setting.
In addition we are looking for someone who has a desire to work alongside and support the setting leader to drive the setting forward, work closely and support the team, be organised to undertake required nursery tasks and be active within the playroom, being creative and imaginative.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leading team alongside setting manager
- Open/Closure responsibilities
- Working in partnership with other nurseries within the group
- Assist setting leader in maintain high standards of care and compliance at all times, supporting the team with day to day operations, supervisions, and training
- Manage and maintain high standard of records whilst adhering to H&S policies, risk assessments and documentation.
- Working in partnership with parents/carers to support children's care and development
- Liaising with external agencies for advice and guidance to support children and families within the setting.

Experience:
- Nursery: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification? (required)
- Level 5 Childcare Qualification? (preferred)
